Mandated by the Los Angeles
Superior Family Court I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Sherman Oaks, California. I also provide services as a Child Custody Evaluator for the Los Angeles Superior Family Court. I attended Dr. Johnson’s “Positive Parenting with a Plan (Grades K-12): FAMILY Rules” seminar in the early part of 2005. I have been including his book as a mandated source in my parenting plan recommendations to the family court. Dr. Johnson’s book is now a part of the family court orders, believe it or not, when the divorce cases settle. The divorced parents must read it, implement the FAMILY Rules program in their separate homes, and then, six months later, report back to court about their progress. I just wanted to let the readers of this book know that Dr. Johnson is now famous amongst the Judges in the Los Angeles Superior Family Court system. So far, it’s going really well.
